Artistè is operated by Perfect Timbre Tech LLC (“we”, “us”). Artistè connects venues with performing artists and helps them arrange bookings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Short version: we collect only what a booking needs — your name, email, phone number and your venue or artist profile. We use your phone number to text you about your own bookings. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your own bookings — for example, a gig offer from a venue, and the confirmation after you reply. These are transactional messages tied to your activity on Artistè; we do not send marketing texts.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or the consent you give to receive text messages, with any third party for marketing purposes. Our SMS delivery provider processes messages only to deliver them on our behalf.
We share information only where it is needed to run the service:
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| The other party to a booking | A venue and an artist see the details needed to arrange and confirm the booking they are both part of. |
| Service providers | Hosting and database (Supabase), SMS delivery (Twilio), product analytics (PostHog) and error monitoring (Sentry). They process data on our instructions only. |
| Legal and safety | Where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, users or the public. |
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that you and the other party to a booking can reach only your own records. We store data with reputable providers and limit access to what is necessary to operate Artistè. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these protections seriously and review them regularly.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including, for California residents, the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.
Anyone can ask us to remove a photo or video that shows them, at getartiste.com/takedown, without having an Artistè account. That form is the one place we collect information about people who are not our users, so it is set out separately here.
From that form we collect:
We never ask for a file, and the form does not accept one. We use this information to act on your request and for nothing else. It is not shared, not sold, and not used for advertising.
How long: we keep a takedown request while it is open and for two years after it is closed, so that a removal decision can be explained if it is ever challenged. Ask us and we will delete it sooner where we are able to.
We keep your account information while your account is active, and booking and consent records for as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Contact details are deleted together with the profile they belong to. Takedown requests follow the period set out in the section above.
If we make a significant change to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email.
